Gold Discoveries In Seven Troughs Canyon in 1905 led to the birth of Seven Troughs
two years later. The 350 people in Seven Troughs had a post office, saloons and stores. A water system and school district were established in 1908. By 1918, most of the activity had ceased. Seven Troughs is well secluded. Wood is available for campfires.
