The last town listed in a day group is where we camped.

Ivanpah (CA)............................no buildings...only open mine pit
Sunset (NV).............................couldn't find access road..didn't look very hard due to time
Logan City (NV).......................no changes

MODENA
Stateline (UT)...........................good area. Mill has most equipment intact. Several buildings lost to recent fire.
Gold Springs (UT)....................good area. Mill is stripped of equipment.

Abandoned Modern Mill (UT).Almost intact...very interesting.
Frisco (UT)...............................good area with graveyard. great mine..but poisonious gas.

Osceola (NV)...........................occupied

Stonehouse (NV).....................getting worse each year.
Sprucemont (NV).....................no changes. Still a great town.

Tuscarora (NV)........................active town

Galena (NV).............................several original buildings. Modern day mining company has recently pulled out.

Star City (NV)............................long, steep, rocky climb to tram towers and a mine.
Unionville (NV)..........................active town
Rochester (NV).........................big mining operation
Lower Rochester (NV).............big Mining operation
Jessup (NV)..............................only open pit mines found during night search. Did not camp.

WEATHER....Comfortable. A few thunderstorms. Rain most of the night on day 3. (Frisco)
Day temps around 70 - 75. Night temps around 35 - 45

ROADS...Good to very steep and rocky. Some mud on day 6.

OBSERVATIONS...Lightning and burned areas. More people in secluded areas.

DAMAGE...Destroyed both rear tires.
